Simple Holiday Salad

This salad is so simple, I actually never intended to add the recipe to the website. But my friends loved it so much and all asked for the recipe that I thought maybe I should share it here with all of you. The ingredients are minimal, but sometimes that gives you the opportunity to really taste the unique flavor of each one and that makes it a beautiful dish.

This is great to make for a crowd because it quite literally took me 5 minutes to make enough for 12 people. I made them in individual portions and set at the table as a starter. I was surprised to hear all the girls shout out "first recipe is 10/10!" because I had not served them one of my recipes yet. Turns out it was one of their favorites from the whole event! So here it is, short and sweet, my holiday salad.

Simple Holiday Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 head Boston lettuce
  • 3 plums
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese
  • balsamic reduction
  • olive oil, for drizzle
  • pepper to taste
Instruction
  1. Wash and tear lettuce. Portion into each bowl.
  2. Wash and cut plums into small 1 inch pieces, add to each bowl evenly.
  3. Crumble goat cheese evenly over each salad.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic reduction and oil, sprinkle with pepper.
  5. Serve and enjoy! Yep, that's it. I told you it was simple ☺
